Anti-Bullying
We take a proactive and compassionate approach to preventing and addressing bullying. We use a range of strategies to create a safe and respectful environment for every child, including:
- NSPCC resources and tools to support understanding and resilience
- PSHE lessons that teach empathy, respect and positive relationships
- Resources from the Anti-Bullying Alliance that provide discussion points for children to learn from
- Empowering pupils not to be bystanders, encouraging them to speak up and support others
When bullying does occur, our staff respond quickly and effectively. We work with everyone involved to stop the behaviour and help children understand why it is not acceptable, promoting reflection and positive change.
