The school sees the time set aside for Collective Worship as being a time for sharing and togetherness; a sharing of knowledge, feelings and experience. It is seen as a time when we foster a sense of belonging to the school, to the wider community of Arborfield and to the society and world in which we live. It is a special act or occasion whose purpose is to show reverence to God.

The Coombes Church of England Primary Schools has fostered close links with its local Churches. The staff from the Arborfield and Barkham Church Group support the school by leading Collective Worship Assemblies, which are linked to the school's Christian vision and values. They also offer advice and guidance in the development of the school's policies for both Collective Worship Policy and Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development. During Lockdown, the staff from the churches offered wellbeing support for families from the school and produced weekly assemblies for our school community to enjoy.
