The Local Community

A school should be at the heart of its community - meeting the needs of successive generations and providing a warm welcome to children, parents and carers, neighbours and friends from the community that surrounds it. Many of our children come from the nearby Arborfield Garrison. A number have siblings in the neighbouring Junior School.

Children come to the Coombes from a wide geographical area that encompasses Wokingham, Reading, the smaller villages such as Barkham, Spencers' Wood, Three Mile Cross and Mortimer.
